深圳工业设计师深入到用户日常生活场景中,挖掘潜在需求,进而打造创新功能。在厨房场景下,设计师发现用户在烹饪时常常面临双手油腻却需操作智能设备的困扰。于是设计出一款智能厨房电器,支持手势感应操作。用户无需接触,通过简单手势就能调节烤箱温度、控制抽油烟机风速等,极大提升了烹饪的便捷性。在卧室场景中,考虑到用户睡眠质量问题,设计出智能床,它能根据用户的睡眠状态自动调整床垫的软硬度,同时还具备睡眠监测功能,为用户提供详尽的睡眠报告,帮助用户改善睡眠。

功能整合与优化
为避免智能家居产品功能繁杂,深圳工业设计注重功能整合与优化。将智能音箱、智能摄像头和智能门铃的功能集成到一款产品中。当有访客按门铃时,用户不仅能通过手机实时查看门外情况,还能通过集成设备与访客对话。平时,它作为智能音箱提供音乐播放、语音助手等服务,实现了功能的高效整合,为用户提供一站式智能家居体验。


时尚简约且人性化的外观设计

简约美学理念
深圳工业设计秉持简约美学理念,赋予智能家居产品简洁大方的外观。以智能扫地机器人为例,摒弃复杂的线条与装饰,采用圆润流畅的机身线条,搭配纯净的色彩,使其能够轻松融入各种家居风格。简约的设计不仅符合现代消费者对家居美学的追求,还让产品在视觉上更加舒适,减少因外观过于繁杂而给用户带来的压迫感。

人性化细节考量

User centered innovative feature design

Deep insight into life scenarios
Shenzhen industrial designers delve into users’ daily life scenarios, explore potential needs, and then create innovative features. In the kitchen setting, designers have found that users often face the problem of greasy hands and the need to operate smart devices while cooking. So a smart kitchen appliance was designed that supports gesture sensing operation.

Users can adjust the temperature of the oven and control the wind speed of the range hood without touching, greatly improving the convenience of cooking through simple gestures. In the bedroom scenario, considering the issue of user sleep quality, an intelligent bed is designed, which can automatically adjust the softness and hardness of the mattress according to the user’s sleep state. At the same time, it also has sleep monitoring function, providing users with detailed sleep reports to help improve their sleep.

Function integration and optimization
To avoid the complexity of functions in smart home products, Shenzhen Industrial Design focuses on functional integration and optimization. Integrate the functions of smart speakers, smart cameras, and smart doorbells into one product. When a visitor rings the doorbell, users can not only check the situation outside the door in real time through their mobile phones, but also have conversations with the visitor through integrated devices. Usually, it serves as a smart speaker to provide services such as music playback and voice assistant, achieving efficient integration of functions and providing users with a one-stop smart home experience.


Fashionable, simple and humanized appearance design

Minimalist aesthetic concept
Shenzhen Industrial Design adheres to the concept of minimalist aesthetics, endowing smart home products with a simple and elegant appearance. Taking the intelligent sweeping robot as an example, it abandons complex lines and decorations and adopts smooth and rounded body lines, paired with pure colors, making it easy to integrate into various home styles. The minimalist design not only meets the modern consumer’s pursuit of home aesthetics, but also makes the product visually more comfortable, reducing the sense of oppression caused by overly complicated appearance for users.

Consideration of humanized details
In terms of exterior design, Shenzhen Industrial Design fully considers humanized details. The design of smart sockets fully considers the convenience of plugging and unplugging, increases the spacing between plugs, and prevents adjacent plugs from interfering with each other. At the same time, soft indicator lights are installed on the surface of the socket, which not only facilitates users to check whether the socket is powered on at night, but also does not affect sleep due to excessive light. For smart door locks, the handle is designed based on ergonomic principles to provide a comfortable grip and prevent fatigue even after prolonged use. These humanized detail designs have enhanced users’ favorability towards smart home products.


The application of advanced materials and exquisite craftsmanship

Innovative Application of Materials
Shenzhen Industrial Design actively explores the application of new materials in smart home products. In the design of smart lighting fixtures, new types of light guiding materials are used to make the light more uniform and soft, while also having better energy-saving effects. Some high-end smart home products use aerospace grade aluminum alloy materials for their shells, which are not only lightweight but also sturdy and durable. The surface has undergone special anodizing treatment, presenting a delicate texture and unique luster, enhancing the overall quality of the product.

Exquisite craftsmanship creates quality
Shenzhen has mature manufacturing processes that closely integrate industrial design with exquisite craftsmanship. In the production process of smart home appliances, high-precision mold manufacturing and precision assembly technology are used to ensure that the various components of the product are tightly connected and seamlessly integrated. For example, the door gap of a smart refrigerator has achieved excellent sealing effect through fine process adjustment, effectively reducing cold air leakage and improving the refrigeration efficiency and energy-saving performance of the refrigerator. This strict requirement for craftsmanship ensures the high quality of smart home products and wins the trust of consumers.
