用设计重构人与宠物的情感共鸣
宠物止吠器ID设计绝非简单的外观美化,而是通过形态、材质、细节的系统化设计,在 “纠正行为” 的功能性与 “温和陪伴” 的情感性之间找到平衡。当我们将冰冷的电子设备转化为贴合犬颈的弧面、亲肤的硅胶触感、自然的色彩语言,本质上是在构建人与宠物之间的信任媒介 —— 让技术以更友好的姿态介入宠物生活,这或许就是工业设计在宠物用品设计领域的核心价值。

一、造型语言:在功能理性中注入情感温度
(一)宠物形态语义设计
止吠器作为宠物穿戴设备,首要考量是犬只佩戴的生理适配性。我们摒弃传统电子设备的棱角分明,采用 “双曲面弧面 + 柔化边缘” 的设计策略:项圈主体弧度严格贴合犬颈生理曲线(经 30 + 犬种颈围数据建模),边缘倒角控制在 R5-R8mm 区间,避免运动时摩擦皮肤;主机模块厚度压缩至 22mm(较竞品减薄 15%),重量分布通过配重块优化,确保长期佩戴无坠感。在形态语义上,通过设计弱化冰冷感,主机采用 3D 弧面 + 软硅胶中框,握持时贴合掌心弧度。
(二)用户操作导向的布局逻辑
ID 设计需兼顾人机交互的便捷性与宠物活动的自由度。我们将核心显示区集中在主机前部,方便观看,切换键放在下部拇指或食指自然落点,方便操作时上下用力,避免给宠物颈部造成不适感;充电接口隐藏于项圈内侧磁吸盖板下,既保持外观整体性,又避免户外使用时进水进灰。
传感器阵列(麦克风 + 震动感应)分布于主机两侧,通过圆润过渡与主体融合,既保证信号采集精度,又避免外露元件的突兀感。项圈调节扣设计成 “双卡扣 + 柔性织带” 结构,单手 3 秒内可完成松紧调节,适配颈围 15-60cm 的全犬种。
二、情感化设计:在细节中建立信任连接
(一)亲肤材质的选择与创新
接触宠物皮肤的项圈部分,我们优先选用医用级液态硅胶(邵氏硬度 40A),表面进行抗菌涂层处理(银离子缓释技术,抑菌率>99%),经 1000 + 小时犬只佩戴测试,无过敏红肿案例。
考虑到夜间使用场景,在主机正面设置导光点(柔光 LED),通过不同颜色呼吸灯传递工作状态(蓝色 – 待机 / 绿色 – 正常 / 红色 – 低电量),既避免强光惊扰宠物,又让主人在黑暗中快速识别设备状态。反光织带的宽度和反光系数经过国标测试,确保遛狗时的安全性。
(二)消除宠物抵触的隐性设计
针对犬只对陌生设备的抗拒心理,我们在 ID上做了多重 “去设备化” 处理:主机边缘采用渐变收薄设计(最薄处 8mm),减少对颈部活动的压迫感;项圈内侧设计 3mm 高度的透气槽(仿生犬类皮肤褶皱结构),配合硅胶材质的弹性形变,运动时保持空气流通。信号发射口(超声波 / 震动模块)隐藏于弧面凹槽内,避免外露元件引发犬只啃咬。

When we transform cold electronic devices into curved surfaces that fit the dog’s neck, skin friendly silicone touch, and natural color language, we are essentially building a trust medium between humans and pets – allowing technology to intervene in pet life in a more friendly manner. This may be the core value of industrial design in the field of pet product design.
1、 Modeling Language: Injecting Emotional Temperature into Functional Rationality
(1) Semantic Design of Pet Form
As a pet wearable device, the primary consideration for a bark arrester is the physiological adaptability of the dog when wearing it. We abandon the sharp edges of traditional electronic devices and adopt a design strategy of “hyperbolic curve+softened edges”: the curvature of the collar body strictly conforms to the physiological curve of the dog neck (modeled based on 30+dog breed neck circumference data), and the edge chamfer is controlled within the R5-R8mm range to avoid friction with the skin during movement;
The thickness of the host module is compressed to 22mm (reduced by 15% compared to competitors), and the weight distribution is optimized through counterweights to ensure long-term wear without any sense of falling. In terms of form and semantics, the design weakens the sense of coldness. The host adopts a 3D curved surface and a soft silicone frame, which fits the curvature of the palm when held.
(2) User oriented layout logic
ID design should balance the convenience of human-computer interaction with the freedom of pet activities. We have concentrated the core display area in the front of the host for easy viewing. The switch button is placed on the lower thumb or index finger to naturally land, making it easier to use force up and down during operation to avoid discomfort in the pet’s neck; The charging interface is hidden under the magnetic cover on the inside of the collar, which not only maintains the overall appearance, but also avoids water and dust ingress during outdoor use.
The sensor array (microphone+vibration sensing) is distributed on both sides of the host, fused with the main body through a smooth transition, ensuring signal acquisition accuracy and avoiding the abruptness of exposed components. The collar adjustment buckle is designed with a “double buckle+flexible webbing” structure, which can adjust the tightness within 3 seconds with one hand and is suitable for all dog breeds with a neck circumference of 15-60cm.
2、 Emotional Design: Establishing Trust Connections in Details
(1) Selection and innovation of skin friendly materials
For the collar part that comes into contact with pet skin, we prioritize using medical grade liquid silicone (Shore hardness 40A) and apply antibacterial coating treatment on the surface (silver ion slow-release technology, antibacterial rate>99%). After 1000+hours of dog wearing testing, there have been no cases of allergic redness and swelling.
Considering the nighttime usage scenario, a light guide point (soft light LED) is installed on the front of the host to transmit the working status through different colored breathing lights (blue standby/green normal/red low battery), which not only avoids strong light disturbing pets, but also allows owners to quickly identify the device status in the dark. The width and reflectivity coefficient of the reflective tape have been tested according to national standards to ensure the safety of walking dogs.
(2) Implicit design to eliminate pet resistance
In response to dogs’ resistance to unfamiliar devices, we have implemented multiple “de device” treatments on the ID: the edge of the host adopts a gradient thinning design (the thinnest part is 8mm) to reduce the pressure on neck movement; The inner side of the collar is designed with a 3mm high breathable groove (biomimetic dog skin wrinkle structure), combined with the elastic deformation of silicone material, to maintain air circulation during movement. The signal transmission port (ultrasonic/vibration module) is hidden in the curved groove to prevent exposed components from causing dogs to bite.
