A mobile phone that can ‘grow’: AI+modular industrial design
NINEIDA: In the current rise of spiritual consumption, personalized demand is growing at an unprecedented rate. When AI technology collides with modular industrial design concepts, the once shattered dream of “PhoneBloks” is being reignited – an innovative project called PAIR is reconstructing the mobile phone ecosystem with disruptive ideas.
PAIR is not a traditional assembly of mobile phone components, but rather an intelligent terminal that captures life scenes and environmental data through the use of detachable sensor modules called “nodes”. These modular “nodes” are not only extensions of hardware, but also deeply integrated through artificial intelligence algorithms to weave an exclusive experience network that fits users’ lifestyles: from professional level image capture to precise health monitoring, users do not need to pay for redundant functions, but build their own “function matrix” around real needs.
The core of this design philosophy is to make the phone a “digital companion” that evolves iteratively with user needs.
