Designers actively break the stereotype of traditional medical equipment being cold and complex. Taking ultrasound diagnostic equipment as an example, in the past, such devices were large in size and had complex operating interfaces, which brought many inconveniences to medical staff. Nowadays, designers have ingeniously “slimmed down” it from the perspective of user experience, significantly reducing its size and making it easier to move and operate. At the same time, the operating interface has been redesigned with a large-sized high-definition touch screen and a simple and intuitive layout of icons and menus. Medical staff can quickly get started without tedious training, greatly improving work efficiency.

Material innovation is also a major highlight. In the design of some small household medical devices, such as electronic blood pressure monitors, new environmentally friendly and skin friendly materials are used. This material is not only non irritating to the human body and comfortable to the touch, but also has good durability and is not easily damaged even after long-term use. Moreover, in the production process, more emphasis is placed on the recyclability of materials to reduce their impact on the environment.

In addition, industrial design cleverly integrates intelligent technology. For example, some blood glucose meters can be connected to a mobile app via Bluetooth. After the patient measures their blood glucose, the data is automatically synchronized to the phone, making it easy to view the blood glucose change curve at any time. The APP can also provide personalized dietary and exercise recommendations based on data, extending from simple measurement to health management, and providing patients with more comprehensive medical services. The innovative breakthroughs in various aspects of medical equipment industrial design are driving the medical industry towards a more efficient, convenient, and humanized future.
