Perfume and watch industry have always been rich in luxury elements, both of which are desirable objects and symbols of upper class society. They often intersect at the source of inspiration and share similar design inspirations. If you want to enhance this luxurious and exquisite appearance, elements such as multi sided glass, chromium, and gemstones are excellent choices.
This conceptual Miyake Lifetime watch creatively uses glass instead of stainless steel as the case material. The case ingeniously borrows from the groove design of many top perfume bottles, which is full of texture. The thick glass case paired with unique textured edges is highly recognizable. The glass body (including the dial cover) has a high refractive index, which can produce an obvious parallax effect, giving the watch a charming charm like a perfume bottle. In addition, the slight frosted treatment not only reduces internal reflection, but also maintains the overall minimalist style of the watch.
