然而,人体感官中最为敏锐的触觉,尤其是手部触觉,却极难被轻易说服。在当下的 VR 和 AR 体验中,一个常见的现象是,当用户试图抓取虚拟场景中不存在的物体时,手中握着的只是一个看似模仿手部形态,实则仅仅是带按钮的短棍状控制器。尽管 VR 和 AR 系统为追求效率,默认采用类似 Wiimote 的棒状控制器,这种设计如同我们熟悉的游戏手柄,只不过将其分开,以便释放我们的手和手臂,实现更自然的动作,但它依然无法给予手部真实的触觉反馈。
设想一下,当你伸手去拿虚拟世界中的一杯水,手指做出抓握动作时,手中感受到的却只有生硬的塑料质感,而非与真实水杯接触时的那种细腻触感。这无疑极大地削弱了 VR 和 AR 体验的沉浸感与真实性。因此,开发出能够提供更可信、更贴合手部动作的弯曲 VR 控制器杆触觉体验,成为了当下提升 VR 和 AR 体验的关键所在。只有这样,才能让我们的双手真正 “信服” 于虚拟世界,实现从视觉、听觉到触觉的全方位沉浸,开启虚拟现实与增强现实技术的新篇章。

Breaking through limitations and exploring more realistic industrial designs for VR controllers
NINEIDEA: With the rapid development of technology and content creation, the fidelity of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) is really amazing. Virtual scenes that once existed only in fantasy are now vividly presented before our eyes, and our eyes and even ears are easily deceived by the immersive experience they create. Today, I will share with you the industrial design of this VR controller that provides a more realistic experience.
However, the most sensitive sense of touch in the human body, especially hand touch, is extremely difficult to convince easily. In current VR and AR experiences, a common phenomenon is that when users try to grab objects that do not exist in the virtual scene, they only hold a short stick shaped controller with buttons that appears to mimic the shape of the hand. Although VR and AR systems default to using stick like controllers similar to Wiimote for efficiency, a design similar to our familiar game controllers, but separated to release our hands and arms for more natural movements, it still cannot provide real tactile feedback to the hands.
Imagine when you reach for a glass of water in the virtual world and make a gripping motion with your fingers, you only feel a stiff plastic texture in your hand, rather than the delicate touch when in contact with a real water cup. This undoubtedly greatly weakens the immersion and authenticity of VR and AR experiences. Therefore, developing a curved VR controller rod tactile experience that can provide more reliable and hand movements has become the key to improving VR and AR experiences. Only in this way can we truly “believe” our hands in the virtual world, achieve all-round immersion from vision, hearing to touch, and open a new chapter in virtual reality and augmented reality technology.
